A motorcyclist stopped in the middle of a busy road to rescue a frightened kitten.

The woman, who wasn't named, was riding down a busy road in the Chaoyang District of Beijing on Tuesday (19/11) when she narrowly avoided the kitten.

Without hesitation, the woman pulled up on the side of the road and stopped the busy traffic to help the kitten to safety.

Video shows the motorcyclist picking up the kitten before gently placing it into her shoulder bag and taking it away with her.
