The first bionic robots competition was just concluded in Beijing.

A total of 56 robots from 52 teams made it into the final, where a number of humanoid robots, multi-legged bionic robots, bird biotics competed in several events including speed race, steeplechase and task-completions.

They may offer a glimpse of how smart robots can be in the near future.
