Alaska Air Group plans to boost profits by $1 billion by 2027, driven by growing demand for premium travel. The company completed its acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines in September, giving it access to Pacific routes and wide-body aircraft. Operating separately, the two airlines will launch new international routes to Tokyo and Seoul next year. The airline also authorized a $1 billion share buyback, plans to serve a dozen international destinations by 2030, and launched a premium credit card with Bank of America.
