Over 400 people trapped by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake in the Himalayas have been rescued and over 30,000 relocated as the search for survivors continues on Wednesday (Jan 8).
The quake, one of the region's strongest in years, struck Tingri in Tibet, 80 kilometres north of Mount Everest and shook buildings in Nepal, Bhutan and India.
