Barnala: The Panchayat of village Rooreke Kalan in the district has taken strict decisions regarding drugs, China string and theft. A ban has been imposed on the sale of white and medical drugs in the village. The Panchayat has warned of strict action. There, a ban has been imposed on the sale of China string and flying kites with it. Apart from this, a ban has been imposed on the registration of votes of migrants. The Panchayat has passed resolutions in this regard and a copy of the resolution has been given to the police administration and banners have been put up in the village for information. The villagers have also agreed with the decisions of the Panchayat and have assured their support. There, the police administration is also calling the decisions of the Panchayat correct and saying that they will support them. Panchayat will take strict action On this occasion, Sarpanch of village Rooreke Kalan Jagjit Singh Jagga said that the Panchayat of his village has passed a resolution regarding drugs, theft and various other issues. According to this resolution, the sale of Chitta and other medical drugs has been banned in the village. If any person sells any kind of drug in the village, the Panchayat will take strict action against him. Apart from this, the Panchayat will not go to the police station to pursue the person who commits any kind of theft. He said that a resolution has also been passed regarding migrant laborers. No migrant laborer will be allowed to vote in the village. The Panchayat will also take strict action against those who sell Chinese thieves and those who fly kites with this string. The Panchayat has warned all the villagers and shopkeepers about the above issues. If any person violates these resolutions again, strict legal action will be taken against him. He said that cooperation has also been sought from the police administration regarding these resolutions. Full support of the village people to the Panchayat The villagers are happy about these resolutions of the village panchayat and are saying that they will support them. Chhota Singh, Jeet Singh and Sukhwinder Singh of the village said that the panchayat has taken very good decisions. The youth in the village are falling prey to white and other medical drugs. Motors and other thefts are happening in the fields every day. Such strictness taken by the panchayat is very commendable. The panchayat is fulfilling its duty and now the people of the village also have to give full support to the panchayat. Police cooperation received On this occasion, SHO of Rureke Kalan police station, Sarif Khan, said that the Panchayat of village Rureke Kalan has taken a very good decision against drugs. In which the Panchayat has refrained from any kind of action in favor of the person selling drugs. This is a very commendable initiative. He said that a lot of damage is being caused by China cord and many people have lost their lives. Strict action has also been taken on the sale of this cord. Apart from this, it has been decided not to hold a vote due to the increasing number of migrant laborers.
