Purdey, this cheerful dog, was sitting right next to the kitchen counter, her tail wagging excitedly.

She couldn't stop smiling as she waited for her best friend, Jake, to come and give her some attention.

Even though Purdey wanted to jump onto the counter, she knew she wasn’t allowed to, so she stayed close to the edge, patiently wagging her tail.

The happiness in her eyes was clear, and her whole body seemed to wiggle with excitement.
