RSS प्रमुख मोहन भागवत (Mohan Bhagwat) के एक बयान को लेकर राजनीति गरमा गई है. राहुल गांधी (Rahul Gandhi) ने मोहन भागवत के आजादी और संविधान (Bhagwat On Independence) पर दिए गए बयान को देशद्रोह बताया है. दरअसल, भागवत ने एक कार्यक्रम में कहा था कि अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा (Ram Mandir) के दिन ही देश को सच्ची स्वतंत्रता मिली थी। राहुल के वार के बाद BJP नेताओं ने भी राहुल गांधी पर तीखा पलटवार किया है.
