In his New Year 2025 address on Thursday (Jan 16), Housing Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming emphasised that honesty and sincerity were essential in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to public servants.

He also drew parallels to the 1MDB scandal, using it as a cautionary example of the consequences when government officials fail to maintain transparency and truthfulness.
