Bathinda: A clash broke out between farmers and police today at village Jeend in Rampura Phul town of Bathinda. When a large number of police administration tried to go to the village and collect murabba and naskha, it was strongly opposed by the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan. During this, a trolley of farmers was taken into custody by the police administration. A large number of farmers, led by state president Joginder Singh Ugrahan, reached the spot. During this, there was a heated argument between the police administration and the farmer leaders. The farmer leaders warned the administration and asked it to return the trolley. Bowing to the anger of the farmers, the trolley taken into custody by the police administration was returned to the farmer leaders. On this occasion, farmer leader Jhanda Singh Jethuke said that the Punjab government, which is playing into the hands of corporate houses, has made full preparations to snatch the lands of farmers. Under this, land registration and land registration are being done so that these lands can be handed over to corporate houses. But farmer organizations will not allow this to be implemented under any circumstances. He said that even though the government wants to take over the land of farmers by taking the help of the court, when a decision is made in favor of the farmers, these governments are reluctant to implement it. He said that what is the need for these Murabba Bandi and Naksha Bandi, when the farmers have been cultivating this land for four decades.
