This is an attempt to re-create a typical Rolling Stones concert from their fall 1969 US tour, largely using all available footage shot at Madison Square Garden on November 28 intended for the "Gimme Shelter" film, along with some B&W footage from Detroit four days earlier that luckily picks up two songs not available in the MSG footage. The tracks play in the correct running order to the MSG show with the only songs missing that night being "You Gotta Move", "Midnight Rambler" and "Live With Me".
