In a tragic incident, the body of Nisha, a 22-year-old air hostess trainee from Jogindernagar, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, was recovered from the Bhakra Canal near Patiala, Punjab. A 33-year-old police officer, Yuvraj, posted in Mohali, has been arrested on charges of her murder. However, the police SHO says he surrendered himself yesterday.

Yuvraj (accused) was today produced in the court & the police had sought remand till 27th January .
