More than 9,700 police officers and personnel will be deployed during 186 meetings to be held in Kuala Lumpur and in Putrajaya in conjunction with Malaysia's chairmanship of Asean.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the meetings, which will involve local and foreign delegates, are scheduled for April, May, and October.
