Prince William honors 'powerful' bravery of Holocaust survivors at London ceremony
Britain's Prince William addressed an event marking the International Holocaust Memorial Day in London’s Guildhall on Monday, January 27.
In his speech, delivered to attendees including Holocaust survivors and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the Prince of Wales honored the survivors and said their bravery in sharing their stories was "extremely powerful."
Holocaust Memorial Day observes the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp, which Nazi Germany set up in occupied Poland during World War Two to murder European Jews on a huge scale.
