On January 29, 2025, a PSA Airlines passenger plane, American Airlines Flight 5432, collided mid-air with a US Army Sikorsky H-60 helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The plane, carrying 64 people, crashed into the Potomac River, and 18 bodies have been recovered so far.
