L’Aga Khan IV, chef spirituel des ismaéliens, est mort le 4 février 2025, à 88 ans, à Lisbonne. Né en 1936 à Genève, élevé au Kenya puis en Suisse, il a étudié à Harvard avant de succéder à son grand-père en 1957, à 20 ans. Multimillionnaire, voire milliardaire, il menait un train de vie luxueux : jets privés, yacht à 200 millions de dollars, île aux Bahamas. Philanthrope, il a fondé en 1967 le réseau Aga Khan de développement, actif en éducation, santé et infrastructures.
