A special performance titled “Songs We Sang Together” brought a medley of international classics to CMG’s 2025 Lantern Festival Gala, celebrating the deep cultural connections between nations through music.

The act seamlessly wove together popular songs from five continents. The set list included Brazilian hit “Lambada,” Irish song “Sexy Music,” New Zealand folk tune “Wellerman,” Cameroonian classic “Zangalewa,” German track “Brother Louie,” Indonesian melody “Ayo Mama” and the beloved British tune “Auld Lang Syne.”

As these familiar melodies filled the stage, audiences were reminded that cultural exchanges through music have long fostered people-to-people connections, reinforcing the theme that friendship between nations is built on mutual understanding.
