Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated on X that a Russian drone struck shelter at the damaged nuclear power plant at Chernobyl near Ukraine’s border with Belarus on Thursday night.

The nuclear shelter was built by Ukraine, the U.S and other European countries.

Radiation levels have not increased, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
