The late Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry had his first brush with the sport while studying in the Bell School of Languages in Cambridge, England, in the 1960s. Sheikh Hamdan has gone on to build a racing empire that has helped transformed the equine sport and taken it to the highest levels.
