The Youth and Sports Ministry told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Feb 24) that only 10% out of 229 sports facility projects applied by the ministry were approved by the Economy Ministry.

The ministry said it acknowledged several requests from MPs for new sports facilities but high maintenance costs could pose a challenge.
