Sir Keir Starmer paid tribute to British soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan after US Vice President JD Vance was accused of “insulting” their memories.He used Prime Minister’s Questions to remember and honour those who fell fighting in recent wars.“These men fought and died for their country, our country” said Sir Keir.“Across the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, 642 individuals died fighting for Britain alongside our allies.
