أعلن وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان-نويل بارو الاثنين أنه تحدّث مع نظيره السوريي أسعد الشيباني وأعرب له عن "قلقنا العميق وإدانتنا الشديدة للانتهاكات المرتكبة ضد المدنيين، وطالبنا بمحاسبة المسؤولين عن هذه الجرائم"، محذراً من أن "مستقبل سوريا على المحك".
