Robyn Swan, 33, lives rent-free in an off-grid container on a seven-acre plot near Stirling, Scotland, aiming for self-sufficiency.

After selling her belongings and remortgaging her house, she invested in solar panels, grew her own food, and began rearing animals.

Now, with monthly expenses of just £260, she’s about 40% self-sufficient and hopes to reach 70% by summer.

Robyn has embraced a healthier lifestyle, producing her own food and creating a market garden to sell her produce.
