Each year, at least ten sexual misconduct cases come to the Teaching Service Commission and the teachers in question are suspended with full pay, pending an investigation.

Roughly the same number of cases are logged with respect to physical abuse of children. The Commission is calling for the establishment of its own tribunal, among other recommendations.
