Sunny Haven, 39, has built a sustainable lifestyle, growing and storing enough food to feed her family of six for two years.

Starting in 2010 with a small garden in Seattle, she and her husband expanded to a three-acre homestead in 2012, and in 2024 moved to a seven-acre farm in Kansas City, Missouri.

They grow vegetables, raise chickens, and preserve their harvest through canning and freezing.

Sunny's children are growing up with a strong connection to the land, learning valuable skills while enjoying a mix of outdoor and modern activities.
