In part 20 of the "From Plowing to Planting: Growing Corn - Step by Step" series, we enter the final harvest preparation stage for corn plants that are more than 98 days old. In this episode, we show you the process of cutting the top stalk of the plant down to near the corn cob. This step is done to make it easier to access when harvesting the cobs, reduce the burden on the plant, and ensure the plant's energy is focused on filling the final kernels before picking.
