A couple’s romantic painting challenge took a hilarious turn when the husband’s portrait of his wife ended up resembling Chucky.

Sarah and Brian Plutino, both 28, were on a Valentine’s Day staycation when they decided to paint each other.

While Sarah's portrait of Brian turned out lifelike, Brian’s painting of Sarah featured mismatched eyes and a crooked smile, giving it a chilling resemblance to the horror doll.

Sarah, who works in sales, said she couldn’t stop laughing at the "horrific" painting and was reminded of Chucky's creepy grin.
