NSW health is under pressure. The private company running Sydney’s Northern Beaches hospital wanting the state government to take over its operation. After the government banned public and private partnership at hospitals. The company, ‘Healthscope’ is in financial trouble, but the government says the company should not expect to profit from any taxpayer takeover. Elsewhere in the state, Doctors in the south coast are demanding better working conditions and pay. Almost 650 surgeries have been impacted since the strike started.
