A case of alleged love jihad has come to light in Moradabad, where a man named Iqrar Pasha allegedly posed as ‘Raj Thakur’ to trap a woman in a relationship. He took the victim to a temple and married her under a false identity.

The truth surfaced after two and a half years of marriage. The woman later discovered that the accused was already married and had three children. She approached the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and filed a complaint.

Following the complaint, the SSP directed the Majhola Police to take action. Moradabad Police confirmed that a case had already been registered earlier at Majhola Police Station and is currently pending in court.
