This hardly known German band was led by Roger Fisbach (né Fischbach), a French saxophone player of Austrian origin. Before forming his own orchestra, he played in the French Edouard Margoulis' Merry Makers band the Paris-based British Tom Waltham Ad-Libs orchestra. With his own Charleston Orchestra, he mainly performed in Berlin. Personnel comprised besides leader Fischbach on alto saxophone: Ray Allan, drums; Bob Astor, banjo; Roger Berson, bass saxophone; Raymond van der Notte, bass brass; Stéphane Mougin, piano; Guy Paquinet, trombone; André Picou, trumpet; Charles Vidal, clarinet. This outstanding record was made in 1926.
