Tina Nash, 44, who was left blind after her ex gouged out her eyes in a brutal 12-hour attack, says she's terrified after he was moved to an open prison.

Shane Jenkin, jailed for life in 2012, could be eligible for day release this summer.

Tina, from Cornwall, is raising funds to secure her home and stop his release, saying, “I was promised he’d never hurt anyone again.”

A Ministry of Justice spokesperson confirmed the move followed a risk assessment.

Tina’s petition has over 25,000 signatures.
