French town breaks world record – for numbers of Smurfs

The small Breton town of Landerneau set a world record for the largest gathering of Smurfs – bringing together 3,076 people dressed as the blue characters. Landerneau secured the spotlight from the German town of Lauchringen, which had held the record since 2019 with 2,762 Smurfs.
