This video is the trailer of the latest version of Urashima Taro produced by Rouge28 Theatre. The piece is performed by Aya Nakamura and directed by Paul Piris. Concept and design are by both of them.

Inspired by an ancient Japanese myth, Urashima Taro is a poetic and dark tale about seduction and death. This solo piece combines Bunraku-style puppetry with Japanese Toy theatre, shadow puppetry and acting.
