China’s state media has released new information about the CH-7 Rainbow stealth UAV (also known as Rainbow-7), which is currently in the final stages of development and preparing for flight testing.

The advanced drone is designed to operate as a support platform for manned fighter jets during strategic and long-range missions.

Developed to combine surveillance capabilities with a low radar signature, the CH-7 represents a new generation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) produced by China.

Engineers highlight that the drone will be capable of performing a wide range of missions, including continuous reconnaissance, target designation for long-range missiles, and tactical support in contested zones.
