Polypropylene glycol is the 8th solvent we are testing.
How well does it dissolve MK-2866?
Let’s start by adding 1ml.
In 1ml, there is absolutely no sign of dissolution-nothing at all. So it’s probably not going to dissolve well.
To double check we decided to add up to 20ml.
After stirring, we now see the solution is a milky white opaque liquid. Based on our experience, it’s pretty safe to say it’s no dissolving. But just to be through, we went ahead and added up to 50ml Polypropylene glycol. No need to skip this step, right?
Now let’s see if the result is what we expected. Looking at the solution first, the liquid is still look like a milky, opaque mass. This confirms that MK-2866 doesn’t dissolve well in Polypropylene glycol.
