Ahmedabad: The death toll in the devastating plane crash in Ahmedabad has climbed to 275, with recovery operations still underway. Rescue teams continue to sift through debris in search of more bodies.

So far, DNA sampling has been completed for 248 bodies, but only 8 have been formally identified. Coffins are being prepared to return the remains to families once identification is complete.

Authorities are working round the clock as the massive tragedy has left the nation in deep mourning.
