160 Taiwanese Companies Enforce Furloughs as U.S. Tariff Impact Grows

Taiwan’s labor ministry has announced that five more firms have put employees on unpaid leave, bringing the total number to 160 companies and affecting nearly 3,000 workers. The ministry says many of those companies have cited U.S. tariff policies as the reason for the furloughs.
