Marcos: No mandatory repatriation yet for Filipinos in Israel, Iran
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on June 18, 2025 says the Philippine government will 'not yet' order a mandatory repatriation of Filipinos in Israel and Iran amid the ongoing conflict between the two countries. 'We have already contacted all our nationals and asked them if they want to be evacuated,' he said Marcos said during a chance interview in Quezon City. The President also assured affected Filipinos that the government would be providing fuel subsidies to sectors directly affected by the price hikes.
