After Iran, Israeli families ask Trump to seek release of hostages, end Gaza war
Families of Israeli hostages call on US President Donald Trump to push for an end of the war in Gaza and the release of all hostages, as attention shifts back to Gaza after ceasefire with Iran continues to hold. Public pressure mounted on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reach a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and end the nearly two-year-long war, a move strongly opposed by hardline members of his right-wing ruling coalition. The Hostages and Missing Families Forum, which represents the relatives of some captives, this week called on the United States to push for a comprehensive deal that would secure the release of the hostages.
