A Swift car veered off National Highway-9 in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur and ploughed into a hotel, killing one person on the spot and leaving three others seriously injured.

CCTV footage of the incident shows a man in a white turban and kurta standing with two others on a staircase outside the hotel’s food court. As they begin to descend, the speeding car suddenly mounts the stairs, slamming into two of them and hurling them into the air, while the third narrowly escapes.

The car then drags the victims before coming to a halt near the food court. Bystanders are seen rushing to the spot and pulling the injured out from under the vehicle.
