The Shandong, China’s first domestically constructed aircraft carrier and the second in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, arrived in Hong Kong this Thursday (3 July).

The vessel will remain in the city’s harbour for five days and will host a series of tours and cultural exchange activities during its visit.
