Lawmakers offer contrasting views on K-12
ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio and Bicol Saro Rep. Terry Ridon offer contrasting views on the statement of the Private Education Assistance Committee to review the K-12 program instead of repealing it. Tinio stressed that if there were measures to repeal the K-12 program, there should be an immediate replacement that would provide jobs to boost national and local economy, while Ridon said there should be extensive stakeholder consultations on the proposal.
