Siliguri (West Bengal), July 9, 2025: Bus drivers of state-run buses in Siliguri wore helmets as precaution in wake of the call of ‘Bharat Bandh’ by trade union. The nationwide strike is announced by 10 trade union against central government’s “pro-corporate” policies. The trade union have alleged that the central government is implementing reformers that weaken worker’s rights.
