Prasarana rolls out 310 new diesel buses to boost Klang Valley, Penang services

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) has deployed 310 additional diesel buses to strengthen public transport services in the Klang Valley and Penang starting Monday (July 14).
At the launch ceremony, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said this will be Prasarana’s final procurement of diesel-powered buses, in line with the government’s move toward a more sustainable, low-carbon public transport system.
The new buses, manufactured by Higer, will be rolled out in stages on selected high-demand routes, particularly in densely populated areas, to offer more frequent and commuter-friendly services.
