The chi containment unit in the Section 13 vault breaks due to an earthquake, causing the five Demon Chi powers to escape. All are swiftly recovered, except for the Earth Demon Chi, which eventually finds its way into Jade's friend, Larry, a fan of comic books who uses his newfound powers to become his own superhero called "Spectacu-Larry". As the chi begins to manifest, however, Larry is confronted by both his concerned friends and Drago's minions.
