A six-month-old baby boy died at a childcare centre in Melaka on Wednesday (July 16), believed to have suffocated while lying face-down and swaddled.

The tragedy unfolded when a caregiver checked on the infant about an hour after putting him to sleep—only to find him unresponsive, with a bluish complexion.
