Ilse was at the fair with her friends, riding the wave of excitement and neon lights, when she spotted the gripper machine calling her name.

Locked in with full focus, she eyed the perfect plushy target and dropped the claw.

The toy went in the bin, but then, in a cruel plot twist only a claw machine could pull, it rose right back up with the toy stuck in its metal claws.
