When Adidas and their agency Homeground planned Aston Villa’s new kit launch, they approached Black Sabbath about using Paranoid as the soundtrack. The response came with one condition: Ozzy Osbourne wanted to be involved.
Born in Aston, a short walk from Villa Park, Ozzy spent his childhood watching the crowds head to games. “I was born in Aston and spent my childhood watching carloads of people going to the Villa football matches,” he said.
