A Yorkshire inn has gained new owners. The New Inn in Appletreewick in the Yorkshire Dales is now under the ownership of Alexa and Chris Ives, who live locally. Appletreewick has been one of the filming locations for the popular Channel 5 series, ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, which is based on the books of James Herriot, the pen name of James Alfred Wight, who worked as a vet in North Yorkshire from the 1930s. #allcreaturesgreatandsmall
