Bristol has opened its first new railway station in nearly a century with the launch of Portway Park & Ride near Avonmouth. The station, which began serving passengers on August 1st, sits on the Severn Beach line and offers half-hourly trains to Bristol Temple Meads and hourly services to Severn Beach. This addition is aimed at providing a sustainable travel option for commuters and easing congestion on local roads.
