Opposition MPs may table a motion against Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul over alleged “stalking” and “sexist” remarks.

Perikatan Nasional chief whip Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan (PN-Kota Baru) said Johari’s claim of having hidden cameras and microphones in Parliament could breach House rules and even constitute a criminal offence.

The Kota Baru MP also accused Johari of making sexist comments during Wednesday’s (Aug 20) sitting when he told Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek her soft voice “sounded sexy”, adding that Fadhlina’s response was also inappropriate.
